Sweden Orders $16 Million Submarine Overhaul from Saab

The Swedish Defence Material Administration (FMV) sent a $16 million order to Saab to overhaul the Swedish Navy submarine HMS Södermanland, the company said on Friday. The order lasts from 2014-2016. It is part of a Swedish armed forces letter of intent regarding underwater capabilities in the 2015-2024 period, announced on June 9, 2014.
