Siemens Introduces New Baggage Screening Solution at LAX

Siemens [SI] has unveiled its new Siemens Apron Baggage Screening solution at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The new solution, located at Terminal 5 for Delta Air Lines, provides an inline baggage screening matrix with explosive detection systems that are linked to the existing baggage handling system at the airport, what Siemens says is essentially a baggage handling and screening system "in a box."
