Northrop Grumman Awarded $41M in Options for Destroyer Navigation, Steering Systems

Northrop Grumman Corporation [NOC] was awarded $41 million in options from both the Navy and prime contractors General Dynamics [GD] Bath Iron Works and Huntington Ingalls Industries [HII] to provide navigation and steering equipment for Arleigh Burke-class (DDG-51) destroyers. Naval Sea Systems Command exercised options for the acquisition and testing of five integrated bridge and navigation systems (IBNS), valued at $11 million.
