Northrop Grumman Advanced Composite Mate Joint Passes Stringent Tests

An innovative method for joining composite structures implemented by Northrop Grumman [NOC] has passed a series of intensive structural tests, paving the way for the use of composites in future spacecraft, the company said last week.
