
The Navy has awarded Lockheed Martin [LMT] a $147.5-million contract for the low-rate production and fielding of Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) to help sailors know if an enemy ship is tracking them, the company said Monday. The contract is for 14 SEWIP systems for upgrading the AN/SLQ-32(V)2 electronic warfare suites on aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers and other warships.
