The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is “very close” to approving an acquisition strategy for its Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV) in which it will pick, then compete, a government-designed approach selected from industry.MDA Director Navy Vice Adm.
