General Dynamics [GD] recently said it has been awarded a contract by the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) program to provide infrastructure and deployment services in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a $565 million ceiling value for all awardees; the contract has no initial award value.
