Mabus: Navy Will Continue DoD Efficiencies Initiatives Effort Indefinitely

By Carlo Munoz NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.-- Building upon the savings generated by the Pentagon-led effort to trim billions of excess dollars from department coffers over the next five years, the Navy's leadership plans to continue that effort indefinitely, according to Navy Secretary Ray Mabus.
