Judge Denies ULA’s Motion To Dismiss SpaceX Lawsuit, Case Moves Forward

A federal judge late Thursday denied United Launch Alliance’s (ULA) request for dismissal of Space Exploration Technology Corp.’s (SpaceX) lawsuit against the Air Force, but did not rule on the service’s motion to dismiss. U.S. Court of Federal Claims Judge Susan Braden said she ruled against “defendant-intervenor” ULA because the joint venture has no basis to challenge SpaceX’s standing in this case as all relevant evidence the court needs is with SpaceX and the Air Force.
