Haskell Wins $22 Million Contract To Build Helicopter Operations Facility

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded Haskell a $22 million contract to design and construct a helicopter operations facility at Joint Base Andrews, the company said on Feb. 6.The 66,000 square feet, two story facility will serve consolidation of the 1st Helicopter Squadron (1HS) and the 811th Operational Support Squadron (811 OSS) into one facility.The facility will provide administrative offices for both squadrons, an auditorium, a mission control area, classified material storage spaces, library, mission planning support room, flight simulator,…
