GPS IIF-7 Now Operational, Boeing Says

The Air Force’s seventh Global Positioning System IIF-series (GPS IIF-7) satellite successfully launched Aug. 1 sent signals to controllers, confirming it is operating properly, according to GPS IIF prime contractor Boeing [BA] on Monday.
