Lockheed Conducts Successful First Flight Test Of Stinger Replacement Offering

Lockheed Martin [LMT] has conducted a successful first flight test of its offering for the Army’s program to develop a Stinger missile replacement, the company said Tuesday. The Next-Generation Short-Range Interceptor (NGSRI) test at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in mid-December “validated the interceptor's performance and marked the maturation of key interceptor subsystems,” the firm said.  “The test represented a significant step forward in the development of this advanced missile system,” Lockheed Martin said.  The Army in March…
