GeoEye Completes Acquisition of SPADAC

GeoEye [GEOY] yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of the geospatial predictive analytics company SPADAC for $46 million in cash and stock, strengthening its information services business and expanding its presence with the National Geo-Spatial Agency, its largest customer. SPADAC has been renamed GeoEye Analytics and is a subsidiary of GeoEye. GeoEye Analytics has over 40 customers in the intelligence, defense and homeland security areas.
