FEMA Surveys Possible UAVs for First Responders

The Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center is seeking information on commercial off-the-shelf man-portable Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that meet the needs of emergency responders in the field. Some of the basic requirements for the systems include that they be small enough to be loaded into the trunk of a vehicle, hand-launched, and be deployed in the air within minutes of a decision to fly.
