F135 Engine Core Upgrade Passes Preliminary Design Review

RTX's [RTX] Pratt & Whitney said on July 15 that it has completed preliminary design review (PDR) on the F135 Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) for the Lockheed Martin [LMT] F-35 fighter. Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, Conn., said that ECU "is on schedule and exceeding expectations."
