The Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center is posting its upcoming forecast of opportunities on the Acquisition Planning Forecast System, which is a portal for small business vendors to view projections of all anticipated opportunities expected to exceed $150,000 that small businesses may be able to perform under direct contracts with the center or through subcontracts. TSA Seeks Info on Standardized Data and Interfaces for Security Equipment

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Office of Security Capabilities, Mission Analysis Division has issued a Request for Information related to research for the impacts of standardizing data formats and interfaces for aviation security transportation security equipment. DHS Plans Cybersecurity Industry Day

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Cybersecurity and Communications plans to host a Cybersecurity Industry Day on Dec. 16 and 17 in the Washington, D.C. area. DHS will not discuss specific procurements but rather allow CS&C to increase transparency about cyber security capability needs, challenges, technologies, requirements, and how to better do business with the office. Coast Guard Issues RFI for Boat Remote Controlled Weapons Systems

The Coast Guard has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking vendors interested and capable of manufacturing and delivering a remotely operated, gyro-stabilized automatic weapons system. The system shall incorporate weapons that are currently in the Defense Department supply system. The remote weapon system shall allow for single person remote operation from a console mountable control station located with the cabin of a boat with the weapon being mounted on the bow of the boat. Air Force Seeks Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System

The Air Force Space Command has issued a pre-solicitation seeking a small business for the sustainment, maintenance and modernization of the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS). CIPS is the system of record for official processing of infrastructure related IT/National Security System documents, Air Force-wide processing of IT infrastructure funding requests, integrated project funding management, and the communications layer of the Installation Geospatial Information and Services. CBP to Host Industry Day for MEA Mission Management System

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will host an Industry Day on Dec. 7 in Washington, D.C., to brief interested vendors on the Mission Management System for the new Multirole Enforcement Aircraft (MEA). Earlier this fall CBP issued a draft Request for Proposal for the MEA, part of the process for rebidding the multipurpose aircraft that is currently supplied by Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC). DARPA Plans Proposers Day for RADICS

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Innovation Office is sponsoring a Proposers Day on Dec. 14 in Arlington, Va., to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the anticipated Rapid Attack Detection, Isolation and Characterization (RADICS) Broad Agency Announcement. The goal of the RADICS program is to develop innovative technologies for detecting and responding to cyber attacks on U.S. critical infrastructure, especially those parts essential to Defense Department mission effectiveness. DARPA is interested specifically in early warning of impending attacks, situation awareness, network isolation and threat characterization in response to a widespread and persistent cyber attack on the power grid and its dependent systems.
