Customs and Border Protection earlier this month said one of its Guardian maritime surveillance drones experienced a nose-wheel collapse after touching down, resulting in a hard-landing and extensive damage. Damage to the aircraft, which is a variant of the General Atomics MQ-9 Predator B, is still being assessed.
