Brazilian Navy Signs Agreement To Buy Two S-70B Helicopters

Sikorsky [UTX] said recently that the Brazilian Navy has signed an agreement with the U.S. Government to acquire two Sikorsky S-70B maritime helicopters via the Foreign Military Sales process. In 2010, the Brazilian Navy contracted for four S-70B aircraft for $163.8 million with deliveries beginning in December 2011 through the end of the first quarter of 2012. That contract included associated modifications, production, and transportation.
