Boeing’s Commercial Business Bounces Back In Fourth Quarter; Defense Results Mixed

By Calvin Biesecker Boeing [BA] yesterday swung to a profit in the fourth quarter and sales growth was strong versus a year ago when its commercial aircraft business was impacted by a labor strike and a charge to one of its airplane programs. The positive results were driven primarily by its commercial aircraft unit, which more than doubled aircraft deliveries.
