Australia Awards Meggitt Training Systems $1.5 Million Contract For Mortar Simulators

Meggitt Trainings Systems won an Australian Defence Force’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group contract for $1.5 million in mortar simulators, the company said August 17.Under the contract terms, Meggitt will manufacture, install, maintain, and operate additional 81mm simulated mortars at several locations to support Regular Army Infantry Battalions and Army Reserve Light Batteries.These simulated mortars are used to train and test mortar men, command post operators, fire controllers, and commanders in duties regarding mortar operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures.“Meggitt continues…
