Army Selects BlueHalo, RTX To Develop Next-Gen C-UAS Missile Prototypes

The Army has selected BlueHalo and RTX [RTX] to work on developing Next-Generation Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System (C-UAS) Missile (NGCM) prototypes, the service confirmed to Defense Daily. A spokesperson for the Army’s Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) noted the two firms were downselected from a competitive process to receive Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreements to work on NGCM, while specific contract details are still being negotiated. “The Army, with significant support from the Joint Counter-small Unmanned…
