Army Plans RFP For Medical Countermeasures Against Nerve Agent Chemical Warfare Threats

The Army Friday planned to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for Bioscavenger (BSCAV)/Nerve Agent Prophylactic Countermeasure project to meet the requirement for medical countermeasures against the effects of nerve agent chemical warfare threats. An award is anticipated on or about Sept. 27. The presoliciation notice in FedBizOps.gov said the procurement objective is to deliver a countermeasure that is safe, effective, quick acting, free from performance-decrementing side effects, relatively non-invasive, approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), compatible with…
