Air Force Awards Jordanian Contractor $371 Million Contract For English Language Training

The Air Force awarded the Royal Jordanian Air Academy a $370.8 million firm-fixed-price contract Aug. 7 to provide Type I special training for English language and technical aviation training for Iraqi Air Force technical personnel, according to a Defense Department statement. Air Force spokeswoman Dianne Moffett said Friday in an emailed response to questions the training provides generic English and technical skills, which include aircraft maintenance, avionics, air traffic control and weather.
