SDA Demonstrates Space-Based Link 16 Connection With Navy Aircraft; Sees Several Month Delay In Tranche 1 Launches

The Space Development Agency (SDA), as part of a demonstration of its fledgling capability to transmit messages from spacecraft using an encrypted tactical data link, recently showed that connectivity could be delivered to a parked aircraft, the agency’s top official said on Wednesday.
