The Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) will vote today on the nomination of Chuck Hagel to be defense secretary and, barring Republican opposition, he could be confirmed by the full Senate as soon as tomorrow. Republicans including SASC member Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) have continued to raise concerns about Hagel, a former GOP senator from Nebraska.
