Raytheon Boosts Annual Dividend

Raytheon [RTN] yesterday said it is increasing its annual dividend payment by 15 percent to $1.72 per share, the seventh straight year the company has boosted its dividend. The quarterly dividend payments to shareholders will be 43 cents per share, with the first payment slated for April 28. "The dividend increase reflects our company's strong financial position, continued confidence in the future and ongoing commitment to our shareholders," William Swanson, Raytheon's chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
