Following a relatively slow fourth quarter in 2013, mergers and acquisition (M&A) activity in the aerospace and defense sector picked up in the first quarter of 2014 but still remains “sluggish,” according to quarterly report by the consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
