TSC Acquires ADS, Rebrands as ADS Federal

PR Newswire

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Technical Services Corporation (TSC), a renowned provider of planning, execution and management support to mission-critical federal programs, today announced that it has acquired Accelerated Development & Support Corporation (ADS), a Virginia-based Science and Technology (S&T) services company with nearly three decades of experience serving Department of Defense (DoD) programs. Going forward as ADS Federal, the unified organization will continue to provide exceptional service and support to customers.

“We are so thrilled to welcome the ADS team to ours,” Chief Executive Officer Angel Diaz said. “Their reputation and experience with the DoD customer are the perfect match for our veteran-heavy workforce. Together, we will work with our shared, current customers – and with new ones – to identify critical needs; operate quickly, effectively and efficiently; and work relentlessly in support of our customers’ missions. It’s second nature for all of us.”

ADS Federal will retain TSC’s Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and its SBA 8a socioeconomic certifications, while expanding its core competencies to include advanced scientific and engineering expertise in weapons development, unmanned aerial systems, and autonomy.  The 120-person company will continue to be led by Diaz, focusing on growing its customer relationships at the Department of State, the Office of Naval Research, the Department of Energy and the Department of Homeland Security, to name a few, and strengthening its already strong capabilities in the areas of project management, IT and S&T development.
