WASHINGTON, March 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — LexisNexis® Special Services Inc. today announced the appointment of Dr. Richard J. Tubb, MD, Brigadier General (Retired) and former Chief White House Physician, to its board of directors.

Tubb, 60, is the longest serving White House Physician in U.S. history. He was assigned to the White House Medical Unit for 14 years and served in three presidential administrations from 1995 until 2009.

Tubb received his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1981. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin and completed Family Practice Residency training at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, Calif., in 1988. His leadership positions included all aspects of Air Force medicine with clinical, academic and operational medicine, garrisoned and deployed.

• Alan Wade – President of Wade Associates and the retired Chief Information Officer of the Central Intelligence Agency;
• Howard Safir – retired from public service after more than 30 years with appointments as the New York City Police Commissioner, with the Drug Enforcement Agency and as the Associate Director for Operations for the U.S. Marshals Service;
• Floyd I. Clarke – a three decade career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and
• Henry A. Udow – Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary for the RELX Group, the parent company of LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
