Culmen International Acquires Centrifuge Systems

Culmen expands analytics and big data discovery technology with acquisition

WASHINGTON, Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Culmen International, LLC, a premier provider of technical, management and logistics services worldwide, announced today that it has acquired Tysons Corner, Virginia-based Centrifuge Systems, a leading provider of next-generation big data business intelligence and visualization software. The combined business will operate under the Culmen International brand and provide a significantly expanded suite of technology capabilities.

Centrifuge Systems supports some of the most demanding applications in the world, including counter-terrorism, cyber security, homeland defense, and financial crimes analysis. The company’s combined technology capabilities will now include big data discovery, link analysis, advanced analytics visualization, intelligence analysis, Internet of Things (IoT) and agile software engineering.

The Centrifuge team will be part of Culmen’s Technology Solutions Division under the leadership of Mark Dumas, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). “Culmen is now positioned to deliver advanced technology solutions that merge big data analytics and subject matter expertise to meet the rapidly and constantly changing needs of our customers,” said Dumas.
