CALIBRE Named Prime on $500 Million Joint Forces Development

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — The Department of Defense (DoD) awarded CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) a prime contract on its Joint Forces Development (JFD) contracting vehicle supporting U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff J7. Under this contract, CALIBRE will deliver a wide range of training support services and solutions in four primary functional domains: Joint Training Concepts, Joint Training Environment, Exercises and Events, and Joint Lessons Learned and Joint Doctrine. The multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract holds an estimated ceiling value of $500 million and includes a five-year base period with one six-month option. Work will be performed primarily in Suffolk, Virginia, with support to Joint Staff and Combatant Command requirements.
