
The Navy on Tuesday awarded Pratt & Whitney a $592 million contract modification for F-35 engines, according to a Defense Department statement. The modification is to the previously-awarded fixed-price-incentive-firm target Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Lot VII F135 propulsion systems contract.
