The U.S. Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin [LMT] $87.6 million in follow-on production of Paveway II Plus Laser Guided Bomb (LGB) kits, the company said Monday.The Paveway II Plus LGM kits help convert conventional gravity bombs into precision-guided munitions by adding a nose-mounted laser seeker and guidance fins/tail.This contract represents the majority share of fiscal year 2016 funding and the eighth consecutive majority win for Lockheed Martin in the annual Air Force competition for upgrade bomb kit contracts, the company…
