iPhone App for Radiation Exposure

Scientists at NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia and a small California firm have developed an application for the iPhone that provides real-time information about exposure to radiation from solar activity and other sources from space, starting at an altitude of 16,000 feet. The SpaceWx app, which sells for $1.99, is aimed mainly at airline pilots, flight crews and passengers.
