HASC Republican Staff Director Leaving

Bob Simmons, the longtime Republican staff director for the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), plans to leave Capitol Hill to join the private sector, the GOP-led panel announced May 1.Simmons will be replaced by Jenness Simler, the panel's deputy Republican staff director. Simler has worked for the committee since 2005, first as a professional staff member and later as policy director.
