General Dynamics Subsidiary To Supply Ammunition For Spain

Spain has awarded General Dynamics [GD] European Land Systems, through its Spanish subsidiary Santa Barbara Sistemas S.A., a four-year potential maximum value $27.9 million contract for the supply of 5,56x45mm NATO ammunition for the Spanish army, air force and navy. The 5,56x45mm ammunition, officially referred to as 5.56 NATO, is the standard ammunition for the armed forces of all NATO members and many other countries around the world. The ammunition will be manufactured in Palencia, in the center of Spain.…
