The Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) branch has issued a Request for Information (RFI) under its Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (IED) program. S&T is soliciting information on currently available technologies for the detection of weapons and IEDs on people that can be portable, easily deployed and rapidly installed at a desired location without preexisting infrastructure.
