Alabama Shipyard LLC, Mobile, Alabama, is awarded an $8,698,054 firm-fixed-price contract (N3220522C4019) for a 75-calendar day shipyard availability for the mid-term availability of Military Sealift Command’s fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203). This contract includes a base period and three options which, if exercised would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $8,823,424. Work will be performed in Mobile, Alabama, beginning Aug. 9, 2022, and is expected to be completed by Oct. 12, 2022. Fiscal 2022 working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $8,698,054 are obligated and will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This contract was a small business set-aside with proposals solicited via the Government Point of Entry website and six offers received. The Navy’s Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
