The HI-SCAN1001T001-2is is typically used to screen oversized bags and freight. CBP will operate the systems at the Peace Bridge, Lewiston and Whirlpool sites. OSI Systems’ [OSIS] Rapiscan Systems division and VOTI Detection submitted quotes in response to a Request for Quote last August but the Smiths system is the only one that fits within the required footprint. The award is expected in March.
