Boeing Ups Dividend By Five Percent

Boeing [BA] on Monday said it would boost its quarterly dividend payment to shareholders by two cents, or 5 percent, to 42 cents per share payable March 6, 2009. The modest dividend hike comes despite a rough patch for the company, which weathered a labor strike during the fall that dampened earnings, sales and cash flow.
