Boeing [BA] has agreed to acquire eXMeritus, a small Northern Virginia-based firm that provides hardware and software that allows users to share information securely across classified and unclassified networks and systems. The deal is part of Boeing's acquisition of small companies in targeted growth areas, in this case cyber security. eXMeritus' main product is HardwareWall, a secure data transfer system that "meets and exceeds all mission and information assurance requirements for the world's highest level security directives," the company says.…
