Airbus Defense Division Selling Aerospace Engineering Unit

France’s Airbus Group on March 23 said its Airbus Defence and Space division has agreed to sell its Rostock System Technik (RST) aerospace engineering unit to Germany’s Ferchau Engineering GmbH, which primarily provides engineering services and product manufacturing for Airbus.Terms of the deal were not disclosed. RST, which is also based in Germany, has 150 employees.Airbus said it is divesting RST as part of its strategy to shed non-core businesses.RST’s product portfolio includes aircraft cabin simulators for crew emergency training…
