TiaLinx, Inc., says its Eagle5 ultra wideband behind-the-wall imaging system has been selected for the 2009 Army Commercialization Pilot Program. The company has been developing the system in part through small business innovation research contracts with the Army. The system enables object detection and tracking of individuals behind walls. Under the pilot program the Army will provide support to transition products to production. TiaLinx says its advanced millimeter wave radar will be deployed to address detection of unexploded ordnances behind walls, on-road and off-road, and surveillance of desired objects in land, sea and air.
