Telephonics Introduces New Radar to Detect Ultralight Aircraft

Telephonics has introduced the ThreatSTALKER Mobile Surveillance Capability (TMSC)-25 Active Electronically Scanned Antenna (AESA) radar system for detecting low radar cross section ultra light aircraft. Telephonics, a division of Griffon Corp. [GFF], has offered the radar system in response to a Request for Proposals from Customs and Border Protection for means to detect ultra light aircraft crossing the border into the U.S. Telephonics says the TMSC-25 is rapidly deployable on a mobile trailer and can operate as a standalone system…
