Public-Private Group Plans Ministerial Cyber Security Summit

A new public-private partnership aimed at bringing government leaders and industry together to enhance worldwide cyber security will meet in Malaysia later this month, marking the first large-scale global effort to address electronic security, the group said yesterday. The International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber-Terrorism (IMPACT) has received about $30 million in funding from the government of Malaysia for its efforts.
