FLIR Systems To Support Army MEDEVAC Program

FLIR Systems Inc. (FLIR) said the Army awarded it a two-year, $81 million blanket purchase agreement to support the Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) program. The blanket purchase agreement is for the Army MEDEVAC Mission Sensor (MMS) configuration of FLIR’s commercially developed military qualified Talon product, a stabilized 9-inch multi-sensor gimbal system. The Talon MMS will be installed on the Army’s fielded and new MEDEVAC Black Hawk helicopters, produced by Sikorsky [UTX]. An initial delivery order of $19 million was received. Work…
