CANES Deployment May Not Be Fast Enough, Stackley Says

Navy acquisition chief Sean Stackley warned that the investment and planned timeframe for installing the service’s next generation tactical afloat network may not be fast enough to keep up with the threats posed to the networks that currently form the communications backbone of naval vessels.
