Boeing To Acquire AerData To Further Bolster Aviation Services

Boeing [BA] on May 27 said it has agreed to acquire Netherlands-based AerData Group, a provider of software solutions for lease management, engine fleet planning and records management, adding to its capabilities in aviation services for commercial aircraft operators.  Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal for AerData follows Boeing’s announcement last week that it is acquiring Britain’s ETS Aviation, which provides airlines and corporate flight departments software solutions to monitor fuel consumption, identify fuel savings opportunities, and track and report…
