Raytheon [RTN] yesterday said it has acquired Technology Associates, Inc. (TA), a small privately-owned firm specializing in life-cycle computer engineering for programs in the U.S. Intelligence Community, boosting its capabilities in cyber security. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. TA, which is based in Northern Virginia, had $21.3 million in sales in 2009, up 13 percent from $18.9 million reported in 2008, according to information on its web site.
