Draken International Awarded Five-Year Combat Air Forces Adversary Air Contract

Draken International, the leading provider of 4th generation tactical flight services, has been awarded the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Adversary Air (ADAIR) contract after successfully providing ADAIR services for the USAF Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base for the past four years.

LAKELAND, Fla., Oct. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Draken International, the leading provider of 4th generation tactical flight services, has been awarded the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Adversary Air (ADAIR) contract after successfully providing ADAIR services for the USAF Warfare Center at Nellis Air Force Base for the past four years. The CAF ADAIR contract, issued by the United States Air Force (USAF), has an estimated value of $6 billion with a total ordering period of up to 5 years.

The purpose of this USAF program is to provide realistic advanced adversary air threats used to support combat readiness training for our CAF warfighters to include Formal Training Units (FTU). The services provided include a comprehensive solution that involve advanced military fighters, aircraft systems support, aircraft maintenance, pilots & maintainers, as well as quality & contract management essential to achieving all program requirements.

The CAF ADAIR contract will include numerous operating locations throughout the United States. Over the course of the current Nellis ADAIR contract, Draken International has provided direct support to over 80% of the potential operating locations identified by ACC including several additional bases not listed on the CAF ADAIR contract. Draken International will operate four types of advanced fighter aircraft in support of this contract, including Mirage F-1s, Cheetahs, A-4 Skyhawks, and L-159 Honey Badgers.
